The woman who was found dead in a car parked near Paula Abdul’s Sherman Oaks, Calif., home last night has been identified as Paula Goodspeed, 30, a former contestant on “American Idol’s” Season 5.

Goodspeed was found shortly after 6 PM on Tuesday, after the Los Angeles Police Department received a tip from a neighboring agency, according to LAPD spokesperson Officer Karen Smith.

“Our Van Nuys division did receive a call from the Ventura County’s Sheriff. A woman’s parents reported her missing and they thought that she may be at Paula Abdul’s house,” Smith told Access Hollywood on Tuesday night.

The parents of the woman reportedly believed their daughter was nearby Abdul’s home as she was reportedly “a big fan” of the “Idol” judge, Officer Smith told Access.

When authorities arrived, the unidentified woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities are awaiting a coroner’s report to verify the cause of death.

Footage of a car parked on the street where the incident occurred, and shown on Fox News 11 in Los Angeles, who first reported the story, showed Paula Abdul laminates dangling from the rearview mirror.

Goodspeed was shown auditioning for the FOX reality show in February 2006.

Dressed in pink, and with a mouth full of braces, she claimed, “You have to have a certain personality to pull my look off.” She also claimed to be a major Paula Abdul fan.

“I really like Paula Abdul a lot,” Goodspeed said on the show. “ She’s really cool. I’m like, a really big fan. And I made life-sized drawings of Paula. I’ve been drawing ever since I was a little kid and my first drawing was of Paula Abdul.”

After performing “Proud Mary” for the judging panel, she left Abdul surprised.

“Well, Paula, I’m speechless,” Abdul said. “Don’t know what to say.”

“Is that good or bad,” Goodspeed asked.

“It’s not a great thing,” Abdul said.

After being told she wouldn’t make it through to the Hollywood round of the competition, Goodspeed vowed to continue her dream of being a singer.

“It’s not over. I’m not going to stop singing just because you don’t like my voice,” she said.

Abdul was not home at the time of Tuesday’s incident. Her spokesperson told KTTV Fox News 11 that the judge was out Tuesday evening taping a session for the upcoming season of “American Idol.”

On Wednesday, Abdul released a statement regarding the incident to Access Hollywood.

“I am deeply shocked and saddened about what transpired yesterday,” Abdul’s statement read. “My heart and prayers go out to her family.”

I have to believe there is something good about me…”

As far as a biography for Paula Goodspeed, we don’t know much. She was a thirty year old woman who named Paula Abdul as one of her idols. She auditioned for the show, but according to the judges, her voice wasn’t up to par. She left angry that American Idol overlooked her talent and uniqueness. According to E!, after American Idol, Goodspeed had attempted to contact Abdul several times, sending her packages and treating letters. They also report that she attempted to kill herself by overdosing on pills a few months ago.

Today Goodspeed was found dead outside the home of Paula Abdul, in what appears to be a suicide.

Paula Abdul was not at home during either one of the incidents, but did say she was “deeply shocked and saddened.”

Cheetah Girl Adrienne Bailon is the latest Disney darling to find herself the victim of a racy photo scandal.

Partially nude photos of the singer have been leaked online.

According to Bailon’s rep, Jonathan Jason, the photos were stolen from Bailon’s personal computer, so she has now initiated a lawsuit against whomever is responsible, tmz.com reports.

“Adrienne will be pursuing legal action against the person sending these private photos out,” Jason said in a statement.

In the images, Bailon, 25, is seen wearing a bra and nothing else. In another leaked photo the actress can be seen posing to show her backside.

The pictures were taken as an anniversary present for Bailon’s boyfriend, Robert Kardashian (brother of reality-TV star Kim Kardashian).

Bailon says she is “deeply sorry” to fans.

It is not the first time that a star of Disney is caught in a controversy. Both Vanessa Hudgens and Miley Cyrus were involved in racy photo scandals in the past.

The Cheetah Girls are scheduled to perform Friday at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

Adrienne Bailon is trying to bring a photo leaker to court. She is a Cheetah Girl. Bailon is an actress who is employed by Disney. Photos of her wearing nothing but a bra have surfaced on the Internet. This is a very serious issue because Adrienne Bailon is supposed to be a role model for young girls.

Apparently, the racy photographs were on her laptop which was stolen. Adrienne was contacted by an anonymous caller who stated that for a thousand dollars she could have her laptop returned to her. The laptop was returned but the photographs had been removed. Now, Adrienne Bailon is determined to file a lawsuit against the person or people who put her photographs on the Internet without her permission.

This is a very serious issue. In today’s society people think that they can commit crimes against celebrities in order to make a quick buck. Many celebrities have had their personal photos leaked without their knowledge. Celebrities deserve the right to privacy and they deserve the right to have their items not be stolen from them. We need to respect celebrities; they are people just like us. Would we want racy photographs of ourselves leaked on the Internet? The answer is no, we would not want our private pictures on public display. Everyone needs to think about what they are doing before they invade someone’s privacy. It is very important to respect everyone, including celebrities. A person may be famous but that does not mean that they do not have the right to privacy that all of us have.

It turns out that traditional flu surveillance systems take 1-2 weeks to collect and release surveillance data, but Google search queries can be automatically counted very quickly. By making our flu estimates available each day, Google Flu Trends may provide an early-warning system for outbreaks of influenza.”

While influenza is the first target for the experiment, one can easily imagine the types of search data – and regional data – that could help healthcare professionals in the prediction of practically any disease. Just imagine, in the not too distant future, if you could be warned of potential disease outbreaks in your city when logging into your personal health record on Google Health. It’s not a huge intuitive leap, but it’s a leap that puts the responsibility for health in the hands of the individual.

Helping people manage their wellness and health in a preventative way instead of simply treating the disease? That’s a truly innovative – and much needed – way of approaching healthcare. Can Google leverage its wealth of data to help spark that healthcare innovation?

How Google knows when you’re likely to get the flu

Google Trends is a fun way to compare the popularity of search terms, but the technology behind it can also be put to some important uses. Google.org, the nonprofit arm of Google, is using Trends to generate a flu tracker, showing the prevalence of flu outbreaks across America. Flu-related search terms are tracked to estimate when and where the flu happens, with data going back to 2003.

The data is tracked by state, so you can check and prepare when the flu starts to pick up in your area. According to Google’s data, December is historically the worst flu month, so this is an apt time for Google Flu Trends to launch. Google is hoping that the tracker will be quicker and more accurate than the traditional method of waiting for doctors to report the flu, and they estimate that people are likely to Google the flu 1 to 2 weeks before they tell their doctors about it.

Kill the Lights’, taken from Britney Spears’ soon-to-be released effort ‘Circus’, has arrived for music lovers’ enjoyment.

A new song from Britney Spears entitled “Kill the Lights” has been uncovered. Containing up-beat sounds, the song is produced by a team including Marcella Araica, Luke Boyd, Nathaniel Hills, and James Washington.
