Angelina Jolie has credited her partner Brad Pitt for inspiring her to have children of her own, insisting that she “didn’t want to get pregnant” until she met him.

They subsequently adopted another son Pax in 2007, before welcoming biological twins, Vivienne and Knox, in 2008 and Angelina Jolie admits she was happy just to take in orphaned children, until Pitt convinced her to become a mother herself.

Fabio Capello, the England manager, told Terry he no longer regarded him as the right person to lead the national football team during a brief meeting at Wembley Stadium this afternoon.

“After much thought I have made the decision that it will be best for me to take the captaincy away from John Terry,” Capello said in a statement.

Buena Park, Calif., police say that the U.S. Marshals office informed the department that a man arrested last night in a Toronto airport was not Ryan Jenkins.

Officials later said it was not him. The 32-year-old reality TV star is charged with murder in Orange County, Calif., and is still the run from the law.

The U.S. Marshals Service is still offering a $25,000 reward for information regarding the whereabouts of Ryan Alexander Jenkins – the husband of Jasmine Fiore, who authorities believe brutally murdered the model a week ago.

Jenkins is believed to have fled the United States, escaping to Canada on foot after evading a massive manhunt for him at the border.

Meanwhile, police revealed the unusual way in which they identified the mutilated remains of Jasmine Fiore, who was found stuffed in a suitcase in a dumpster.

When Fiore’s body was found in a Dumpster in Buena Park, Calif., August 15, her fingers had been cut off at the knuckle and all of her teeth were pulled out.

Authorities were still able to identify the swimsuit / Playboy model from the serial numbers on her breast implants, which are there in case of product recalls.

“We actually have had several cases where we identified the victim or the defendant in that way,” an Orange County District Attorney spokeswoman stated.

(When Juan says things like “Curling’s about flexibility, balance and touch and I got all three” it does not come off as athletic.)

Jillian did have a fight with Dave and it’s about time. He’s aggressive and scary and doesn’t seem to grasp that.

Jake is absolutely perfect, but I feel like he’s being groomed to be dumped so he can be the next “Bachelor.” (No complaints.)

Right now Jill looks like she’s leaning toward Kiptyn. She jumps up and down for him like a puppy and he seems to think she’s … you know … OK.

Kiptyn definitely doesn’t seem that into her, but the poster boy for not that into her is Mark – with his constantly half-closed eyes – and she picked him over Mike on the two-on-one date.

Poor Mike. He did everything right and got ditched.

Jillian, you have bad taste. Then again, at least you got rid of two of the right guys this week. As Meatloaf said, two out of three ain’t bad.

‘The Bachelorette’: DAVE IS GONE!

Tonight on “The Bachelorette,” Jillian takes her 13 potential beaus to Vancouver, finds out about some shady dealings and sends Dave home!

Chris informs the Bachelors that there is one solo date, one group date and one dual date, where one guy stays and one guy goes. He also tells them to pack their bags for Vancouver. That would be fun, I’ve heard Vancouver is beeyootiful.

Jillian greets the men at the hotel looking super cute in a retro-y dress and introduces them to their hotel suite, which is quite a step up from the bunk house. She leaves them with a date invite and bids them adieu. The card says that Kiptyn gets the one-on-one date. Everybody seems very happy for him, which says a lot about him as a person. He and Jake get excited that finally they met a girl who wants a “nice guy.” Jake’s comment about girls liking “edgy bad-boys” is played over a shot of Wes peeking into the supper buffet. Well played, editors. Well played.

The solo date goes really well. I like Kiptyn a lot, he seems genuinely sweet. They go kayaking to the market to get stuff for dinner, then go back to her place to cook dinner. What a great date! At the market, she gives Kiptyn a list of things to pick up and everything just seems really natural. It almost takes me out of the idea that this is a reality show that never spawns love. Which is saying a lot, because I’m a jaded, jaded girl. Haha.

They feed some birds down on the wharf (tuppence a bag) but have to run before it turns into a scary Hitchcock situation. There’s a big difference between going down to the park to feed the ducks and throwing bread to an angry hoard of disease-carrying wharf pigeons. Ew.

Dinner goes really well, they smooch and drink wine and cook, it’s so cute. There’s some after-dinner chit-chat and some pretty hot kissing, then Kiptyn gets his rose (natch) and there are some more smoochies. Yay Kiptyn!

She is by far one of the hottest things on wheels and today is making her fifth appearance in the Indianapolis 500, hoping to finally race for a win. In a field of 33 cars, she started 10th and during the final practice on Friday, she had 23rd fastest time in her No. 7 car.

“I have been fortunate enough to be close to winning this race in the past, and I hope this year is no different,” Patrick said.

“I’m really excited but on the other hand nervous. There is so much history behind this race, and it’s the race that everyone wants to win.”

The two girls theme continues with a new spot that places Ms. Patrick in a vintage Ford Mustang convertible with a sultry female police officer that seems quite excited about web hosting.

To Go Daddy’s credit, there is a lot more service selling in this 30 second spot, which predictably ends with a disrobing followed by an invitation to head over to GoDaddy.com to see what happens next. Go Daddy founder and CEO Bob Parsons called the teaser and full two minute web-only spot “the hottest commercial we’ve ever made.” No arguments here. This was the second Celebrity Apprentice series. Last years Celebrity Apprentice winner, Piers Morgan, is probably best known in America to those who watched Susan Boyle’s incredible performance on Britain’s Got Talent as one of the judges. This year, Joan Riversand poker champ Annie Duke were the last of 16 celebrities who began the season vying for the title of “Celebrity Apprentice 2009.”

In Celebrity Apprentice 2009, there certainly was no love lost between Annie Duke and the eventual winner, Joan Rivers. There was a lot of trash-talk between the two, and as many suspect these shows are partially scripted (at least), there has to be some doubt as to how much hatred is really there. But if it’s as much as it seems, it’s a lot.

The finale centered around a fundraiser, and it’s interesting that despite the fact that Joan Rivers only raised $150,830 and Annie Duke raised $465,725, Rivers was the 2009 Celebrity Apprentice Winner.

Simply put, money is important, but that’s not all. Trump noted that Annie did a great job on charity integration. Joan won the other three criteria. Joan had better celebrities, better guest experience, and better Kodak integration. 3-2 win on the charity fundraiser.

She completed each task beautifully, wasn’t distracted by emotions and although she was direct and sometimes brash, she outclassed Joan throughout this competition.

My hubby commented, “Trump favors Joan”, just before she was announced the winner. I had to agree. As did Celebrity Smack reader Cherie who sent me this email after watching the Celebrity Apprentice finale. It seems she felt exactly the same way I did.

Paula Abdul said that despite recurrent rumors that she is being forced off the show by new, somewhat more discriminating judge Kara DioGuardi, it is not true.

“I don’t think anyone [can replace me],” Abdul told ABC. “I don’t think anyone [can]. First of all, Kara says ‘I could never replace you.’ And I said, whenever there is change it’s not about replacing anybody. It’s about possibly moving on.”

No one can replace Paul Abdul on “American Idol.”

“This is my last season under contract,” she told Nightline in an exclusive interview. “I love the show, I do. I love what I do on the show and I’m loving it more this season than ever.”

According to ABC News, Paula Abdul was unaware that a fourth judge would come aboard.

“I found out on the way to the airport, she said. “Randy found out hours before me. I was surprised because Simon has always been against the fourth. We’ve had guest judges come in before and he banned that from happening anymore. I didn’t understand the concept of what was happening.”

However, Paula Abdul wants to make it clear that DioGuardi is not going to replace her once she leaves the show.

“I don’t think anyone [can replace me]. First of all, Kara says, ‘I could never replace you.’ And I said, whenever there is change, it’s not about replacing anybody. It’s about possibly moving on.”

Ironically, it was Paula Abdul who helped DioGuardi break into the music industry. However, there is no negative tension between them. According to fellow judge Randy Jackson, the four judges have a family dynamic with “friendly camaraderie.”

After she leaves “American Idol,” Abdul is planning to go back to the recording studio.

“I’m making a new record,” she said. “What really matters is don’t ever count me out.”

David Letterman and long-time girlfriend Regina Lasko married March 19 at the Teton County Courthouse in Choteau, Montana.

David Letterman told the audience at the pre-recording of The Late Show to be shown Monday night that “Regina and I began dating in February of 1986, and I said, `Well, things are going pretty good, let’s just see what happens in about 10 years.” The pair have one child, Harry, born in November 2003.

The marriage didn’t go exactly as planned, with Letterman telling the audience that he managed to bog his truck on the way to the courthouse. “So now we think, `Well, somebody’ll come.’ No, nobody comes along. Nobody comes along _ it’s Thursday afternoon; who’s coming along? Zorro? No, nobody. So I get out of the truck and I walk 2 miles back to the house into a 50-mile-an-hour wind.”

Their pick-up truck got stuck and the three Lettermans had to walk back while battling the 50mph wind to drive another car.

This is the second marriage for
David Letterman. He was previously married to his college sweetheart Michelle Cook for seven years, Usmagazine.com noted.

Regina Lasko is a former production manager  and colleague in show business. She has light brown hair and an average build. She maintains a low profile lifestyle. David Letterman also does not like to talk  about her too much, though he did publicly discuss their relationship and son on Oprah Winfrey Show in September, 2007.

Jade Goody, the “ordinary girl” who found lasting fame through her extraordinary appearances on reality television, has died.

Goody, 27, died in her sleep in the early hours of Sunday morning at her home in Upshire, Essex, after a very public struggle against cervical cancer.

The Prime Minister led tributes to the former dental nurse, who spent her last hours surrounded by her mother, Jackiey Budden, her husband, Jack Tweed, and Kevin Adams, her friend and personal trainer.

“I was deeply saddened to hear the news of Jade Goody’s death,” Gordon Brown said. “She was a courageous woman both in life and death and the whole country has admired her determination to provide a bright future for her children.”

Since being told that she had cancer of the cervix last August, Goody had taken part in a string of public activities to raise money to provide for her two children, Bobby, 5, and Freddie, 4, including a magazine deal for coverage of her wedding. She was criticised for turning her battle with illness into a media circus.

But the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, said yesterday: “I don’t think there was any way, sadly, in which she could avoid the public attention. But I think it was used not to aggrandise her but to tell people what mattered to her and say something about the values that she tried to live with at the end of her life. If in her earlier career it was all about her, then I think at the end it was about something else.”

Phil Edgar-Jones, the producer of Big Brother, on which Goody shot to fame in 2002, said: “You had never seen anything like Jade on a prime-time TV show. She represented an idea that you could get opportunities and if you get opportunities you could make the most of them, no matter where you came from, and I think that’s inspired a lot of people over the years. She both appalled and enthralled people in equal measure.”

Media interest

Goody’s illness had featured in the media on a daily basis and she allowed digital channel Living to continue following her treatment as well as documenting her wedding to partner Jack Tweed a month before her death.

OK! magazine also paid a reported £700,000 to cover the event.

Writing on the mini-blog website Twitter, Stephen Fry said she was “a kind of Princess D from the wrong side of the tracks”.

The pair met while guests on Jonathan Ross’ BBC chat show. Fry said: “Poor, dear Jade… I warmed to her immensely. All impulsive spirit and smiles. What a life.

“Jade lived life under a magnifying glass. Magnifying glasses magnify (obviously) but they distort and they burn.”

Former dental nurse Goody, who shot to fame in the 2002 edition of Big Brother, felt the double-edged sword of fame when she appeared again, this time on Celebrity Big Brother in 2007.

She was accused of being racist after several heated rows with Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty.

Racing commentator John McCririck, who appeared on Celebrity Big Brother with her, said: “She brought out one of the most serious problems in this country, the inherent racism… that people try and keep quiet.

“It’s about people who don’t know they are racist but when they’re losing an argument with somebody whose Asian or a black person they go back to the old stereotypes, and she did that.”

Goody later said she was “embarrassed and disgusted” by her own behaviour.

Fellow contestant, actress Cleo Rocos described how “she lived every second to its fullest exploding point” and said Goody took the highs and lows of her fast track to fame in her stride: “In a way, when she was criticised, you were criticising her directly, because she wasn’t phoney, she never put up a pretence.
